Master of Science Luxury & Fashion Management - one-year programme

The Luxury & Fashion Management MSc is international in its orientation, reflecting the industry itself: international manufacturing and distribution, cross-border ownership, and global branding and communications.
 
This MSc recognises that design, trend-recognition and marketing skills -rather than production/manufacturing skills- are what make today's luxury and fashion firms successful. These skills are the skills related to new product development, marketing, strategic brand management and communications delivery.
 
Motivated students are educated in an individu​alised academic environment for success in the fast-moving world of fashion and luxury. 
 
The programme's objective is to enable students to achieve their career ambitions by:

  • giving students regular access to experienced fashion and luxury specialists who have both strong academic skills and practical in-company experience
  • improving and expanding participating students' career prospects by providing them with training in fashion and luxury management as well as understanding the issues in international trends and working across cultures
  • for those who may be working or studying outside the field of art, fashion and luxury, this programme will provide the opportunity for a change in career direction.

Executive Master In Fashion & Design Management

This programs aims at :

  • giving to meet the best experts in all fields related to fashion & design (Brand Management, Production, Marketing, Retail, Distribution) in order start a successful career with a good network and accurate knowledge and know-how.
  • having a practical experience of Brand Management by developing a product (from the conception to selling in the Pop-Up Store) which is a real added-value to work in the field.
  • building a career by working closely with our Job Coach to select the accurate internship (in Belgium or abroad) that will lead to a fix position.

Fashion Law

Managing Fashion & Luxury companies requires a deep understanding of the legal framework that is characterizing the core internal processes of the companies, as well as the relations with clients and other external parties. Thanks to the participation of both academics and industry insiders, the "Fashion Law" course will focus on the introduction of the main fashion business models and the processes of collection and product development, in order to concentrate on the key industry-based legal issues from a practical point of view.

Master in Brand & Business Management

From marketing strategy to interaction design. No other industry than fashion with a connatural integration into retail, and that's why mastering brands and retails implies managing expectations, designing experiences.

The Master in Fashion Direction: Brand & Business Management aims to provide students skills and competences strongly needed by brands and companies. How to manage an omnichannel strategy? From the understanding of the most diffused tools and practices, to the field and deep knowledge of retail processes affecting every touch point with the Client. That's fashion retail.

The Master will explore the management of retail strategies, main business models, merchandising and buying processes and visual merchandising practices, for concluding with the digital strategy and the CRM policies.

Therefore, the professional figure that is formed is the marketing and retail manager, connecting strategy to customer, integrating the digital environment to the retail formats and experience design.

In terms of didactical activity, besides lectures leaded by the excellent Faculties of Bocconi University, Polytechnic of Milan and Cattolica Universities, there will be also field laboratories and projects, where students will continuously interact with the leading Italian and international fashion companies (among them, Gucci Group, Gianni Versace, Giorgio Armani, La Rinascente, Hugo Boss, Jil Sander, Levi's, Max Mara Fashion Group, Miroglio Fashion Group, Ralph Lauren, Roberto Cavalli, Valentino Fashion Group, Vivienne Westwood). Field projects, the most compelling part of the Master's experience, are led by teachers and tutors, on a specific brief by companies' executive of  solutions to collections' development issues or of  developing new business strategies.

Digital Communication for Fashion

“Digital Communication for Fashion” is a programme on which participants learn how companies can tackle digital transformation and drive innovative marketing strategy through customer-centricity. Participants will rethink the customer journey to help fashion and luxury industries build positive and relevant experiences across all channels and touch points. During the course participants learn how to respond to recent developments in media and communication. They explore the major debates that dominate fashion communication and evaluate different techniques applicable in creating and understanding the role of ‘digital in fashion. Particular emphasis is placed on public relations within fashion houses: from customer management to the identification of key industry players and celebrities, and from fashion show organisation to the management of press days, conferences and events.
