This new master's program combines high-level economics with application-oriented courses in business and finance. Economics is thereby taught based on the foundations of the Austrian School. Entrepreneurial Economics is the first English-taught master's program in Europe that is solidly rooted in the Austrian tradition. However, besides the Austrian focus this program also committed to methodological pluralism, since all relevant schools of thought are included in the curriculum.

The Maastricht MBA

In the MaastrichtMBA the focus is on responsible leadership and in this context we stimulate you to develop skills to lead yourself, your team and your organisation.

Becoming more aware of your personal motivations, values, qualities, weaknesses, leadership views and challenges gives you a deeper and better insight into your own skills and capabilities, which allows you to develop an authentic leadership style.

In the MaastrichtMBA we take a highly personal approach to learning with Maastricht University's renowned “Problem Based Learning” (PBL) as our leading pedagogy. In small groups we challenge you to interactively acquire knowledge and skills that facilitate reflections on the participants' diverse work experiences. By sharing and reflecting on these experiences you create meaningful new

insights together.

Of course your learning does not stop where classroom conversations end. In the MaastrichtMBA, we stimulate you to go the extra mile. We combine PBL with action and experiential learning, hence academic insights are tightly connected to practice by bringing cases from your own work environment to class. And vice versa: you are expected to actively experiment with newly acquired

knowledge at your workplace.
