The Master of Public Relations & Corporate Communication (M.A.) offers you to gain the perfect competencies for it - custom-fit and in step with actual practice. Academics and lecturers with experience from companies and agencies and will teach you a professional oriented range of courses. The best qualifications you can get before launching your career!

Raising customers' attention, strenghtening companies' image and reputation, every organisation constantly improves its methodes to seduce its customers. The master's projects and case studies have a practical dimension. An excellent team of professors that have collected experience in agencies, companies, and in their research will teach you during four semesters the fundamentals of corporate communication.

The core subjects of the programme are marketing, sales, and modern preparation to a customer-oriented speech. Then you will improve your skills with negociation techniques or project management.

During the second semester, the course content focuses on specific practices of PR. One course will establish the basics : communication agencies targets, PR work methodes. Then you star to work on client-relationship under real-time conditions. The lecture on « agenturgründung » will prepare you to specific company activities.

Your will complete your summerschool on the Universidad Europea de Madrid campus. The courses are taught entirely in English. The school is ranked among the laureate network, to which BiTS also belongs, and offers to students an international and acknowledged array of courses in the sector of business. The summerschool contains international case studies and visits of Spanish firms.

Qualifications/expertise after completing the program

Communication is everything - even in business. You are the intermediary between the company and the public life. Moreover, you know which tools will help a product or a service to be known and liked by the target group. The master enables you to reach a vast array of jobs in the sector of communication.
You will be able to handle several tasks, including :

  • Conception of a PR strategy
  • Politic communication
  • Internal and External Corporate Communication
  • Online-communication

The Master of Arts (M.A.) enables you to go on to complete your Ph.D. studies leading to a doctorate, possibly as a requirement for a teaching or research position at universities and other institutions.

Entry requirements

Students must meet the following requirements to qualify for the master's degree program:

  • Applications are open until september for the winter semester, until march for the summer semester
  • Completion of a Bachelor's degree, a German Diplom or Magister
  • Final grade of “Good”, otherwise a letter of recommendation from the previous university
  • Focus on business or marketing within your previous studies
  • Language Tests
  • Interview partly in English

Admission criteria: 

The admission procedure for the master´s degree program at BiTS consists of an interview (partly in English) with the program manager. Your language skills will be tested within the interview.
