The Master's of International Management MIM program has been designed to prepare students who have already completed a course of study in a non-business-related field. The 36-credit MIM degree program can be completed within one academic year (consisting of two semesters). The coursework encompasses a variety of topics in business administration and economics, qualifying students for a future in business administration and public relations.

Many international business positions are available within the United States, but opportunities for working and traveling abroad are in abundance. In addition to basic business principles, students will become familiar with the linguistic, social, economic and political conditions and business practices of several countries. Principles in business administration as well as the application of economics and the psychology of marketing are covered.

No particular field of undergraduate specialization is required for admission to the program, but a year of undergraduate mathematics is strongly advised.

Course format: 

Schiller provides interesting options for students interested in an international education and studying in Paris or other cosmopolitan cities. The flexible feature of our University's academic model is that it operates on a four-month semester system. Within 1 semester students complete 4 courses, the duration of each course being one month. Undergraduate students are required to complete 40 courses (120 credits) in order to obtain a Bachelor´s Degree. Graduate students are required to complete 12 courses in order to obtain diploma.
Students who transfer in credits from other institutions will complete their studies faster and MBA students who require preparatory courses may take a little longer.
 

Students of high academic standing may be allowed to take additional classes, but most students complete 12 credits every 4 months. Students decide whether to take a break or to enroll immediately for the next 4 month session. Each student decides how fast he/she wants to complete the degree.

Entry requirements

To apply to the University, you would need to send, via courier or post, to the Paris campus:

- your academic transcripts (the originals sent by your previous academic institution) and certified copies of your diploma
- a completed application form that you may download from website
- a copy of your passport, TOEFL/ IELTS for non-native English speakers

- the application fee (50 €)

Course cost description: 

For a Graduate program, a semester (4 courses):

                        4 * 1,660 € tuition fees + 4 * 40 € cultural activities = 6, 800 € for one semester (4 months)
 

Books and living expenses are not included.
At Schiller, you can earn a scholarship which can cover 15% of the tuition fees. It is on a course by course basis, up to 6 courses for graduate programs, 20 courses for undergraduate programs.
To apply for a scholarship, you need to just write a letter explaining why you feel you are eligible for the scholarship, provide whatever supporting documentation to justify it and send it with your Application File. 
You also have the right to work in France during your studies. The law allows students to work 20 hours per week or 964 hours in a given year, which corresponds to 60% of full-time employment for the year.
