Fudan University was the first higher education institution in China that has estblished the educational system of Business Administration, later set up the School of Business in 1929.
Now the School has eight departments and 20 cross-discipline research centers. 
Now the number of the  School’s alumni has more than 30,000 worldwide.
In 2007, the School of Management was conceded as a formal member of the Partnership in International Management (PIM). In 2009, the School became a full member of the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC). The School has obtained EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System) accreditation and  AACSB accreditation  within the shortest period of time in the world.
