Varna University of Management (VUM) is a private not-for-profit higher education institution. Established in 1996, today the university is recognized for education in undergraduate and master programmes in the fields of Business and Management, IT, Hospitality and Tourism, and Culinary Arts. All VUM study programmes are delivered exclusively in English.
VUM is deeply committed to the principles of internationalization and high quality of education. Thanks to its internationally recognized programmes, VUM has one of the highest international students’ rates in Bulgaria. Today, full-time students from nearly 50 countries across the globe are studying at VUM, and more than 1/3 of all VUM students are international.

Strategic academic partnerships with universities in the UK, the Netherlands, Switzerland and other countries provide opportunities for students to complete their higher education with two degrees - Bulgarian from Varna University of Management and a second one from the partner university.

In 2018, in terms of student mobility VUM was ranked 1st worldwide by the independent ranking system U-Multirank. In addition, VUM is a leading University for international orientation, teaching and learning and knowledge transfer according to U-Multirank.
